Aviation logs and flight timelines from the Ministry of Roads and Transport show the Airbus H125, registration 5Y-DSB, flew a heavy multi-leg route from Nairobi to Emurua Dikirr, Mara Rianta, and Endebess.
By the time it reached Endebess it had been airborne for nearly 2.5 hours and had low fuel margins.
Flying the empty aircraft to Eldoret Airstrip was standard procedure to refuel at the nearest certified hub before returning to pick up MP Johana Ng’eno.
Technical evidence on turbine engines further debunks the theory of contaminated oil from a Lodwar syndicate.
The aircraft’s Safran Arriel 2B1 engine runs only on refined Jet-A1 fuel.
If the fuel was compromised, the engine would have clogged or flamed out immediately on takeoff from Eldoret.
Instead, it flew 34 minutes back to Endebess, landed safely, and took off again with passengers. That proves the fuel system was working.
