From Kenya to the world

Kenyan Army officer Second Lieutenant Isaac Lenkume has been commissioned after successfully completing a 44-week military training course at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom.

Lenkume was among the officer cadets who completed the tough training programme, which included military skills, leadership, decision-making, field training and tactical exercises. The training is designed to prepare young officers for leadership and command roles in the military.

Kenya’s High Commissioner to the UK, Maurice Makoloo, congratulated Lenkume on his achievement. He praised his good performance and conduct during the training, saying that the young officer represented Kenya with pride and flew the Kenyan flag high.

The commissioning marks an important step in Lenkume’s career as a Kenyan Army officer and the beginning of his journey in military service.

Congratulations to Second Lieutenant Isaac Lenkume on this great achievement. We wish him success as he begins his career serving Kenya.
